Museum Furnishings
Display windows and glass caskets are the pride and joy of the BENVENUTO museum department. Years of experience in the field of furnishing and fittings for museums has allowed Benvenuto to achieve outstanding results in the assembly and bonding of the glass that then goes on to form the most delicate and seemingly invisible part of the dècor.
When faced with constructing these windows and caskets, designers generally require extra clear or optical white crystal that is laminated or reinforced. Naturally, however, they may also require additional features, depending on how the caskets will be used and, above all, their contents. It is often important that glass have an anti-reflection coating in order to eliminate the optical visual disturbance known as "mirror effect". Alternatively, the value of the contents may be high enough that "armoured" glass is required, all the while maintaining the same light transmission features and the transparency achieved with thinner glass. All of the above is expertly handled and coordinated by the BENVENUTO technical department.
